We struggled for years to provide a decent weight crop.In the end we had our own keepers made from two layers of quality 3mm veg tanned leather which we had stamped with the jacksfloggers logo and mounted on a nice stiff glass fibre shaft for strength. Our signature heavy weight crop has a looped keeper in 3mm oil tanned leather so whilst softer than the leather we use on our standard crop it has quite a bit more weight and impact. We mount these on a good strong solid fibre glass shaft so it won,t break the first time you use it.

The biggest problem with crops is fitting them in the toy bag so we made a short version. A 16" crop with a nice springy solid GRP shaft for strength and a keeper in two layers of heavyweight 3mm  bridle leather so although small it packs a good sting and punches well above it's weight

Heart pocket crop.With a 95 X 120mm head stamped from 3mm English bridle leather it is more of a paddle than a crop mounted on a strong 8mm delrin shaft it has a 40cm overall length so it packs in the toy bag and packs a bit of a punch.
